Made To Order	The Clouser Minnow was designed for smallmouth bass lying in deep water during the early 1980's, yet it has become a fly for a hundred species - like Lefty's Deceiver. This pattern has stood the test of time and is still very much a favored pattern for bass of all kinds when you need to get down deeper faster than a standard Deceiver. Bob Clouser himself says that the original Clouser Minnow was designed for the darting motion of baitfish trying to escape a predator. It gives the look of a baitfish and it's sparsely dressed. The darting motion comes from the stripping, or the motion you give the fly after the cast is done. A great technique is to use this weighted fly on a floating line - allowing the fly to initially sink to a certain depth and then stripping it back to the surface and then a pause to let it to sink again, and so on.

Made To Order	Scott Sanchez was fishing in Belize for barracuda on fly with two flies that seemed to work - the Kiwi Muddler and a FisHair 'cuda fly. Sanchez thought of developing a large baitfish profile with the pulsating action of rabbit fur and the undulating action of a 'cuda fly. A few seasons later the Double Bunny was born for large trout in the mackinaw and cutthroat below Jackson Lake on the Snake River. It has since become a great standard saltwater and freshwater fly

In Stock Now	Probably the most famous saltwater fly of all time is Lefty Kreh's Deceiver - a simple yet deadly baitfish imitation that is at home wherever baitfish are eaten. Smaller Lefty's Deceivers are ideal baitfish imitations in estuaries, impoundments, rivers, and streams. The pattern sheds water easily on the backcast and has a minimum of resistance as it flies through the air. The Deceivers we have here are not over dressed, nor are they sparse, but are a decent 'middle-of-the-road' version of Kreh's famous fly.

Made To Order	Designed to 'push' water with the stiff hackle, this fly makes itself known by a loud 'sonic signature' - try it out in low visibility waters. The hackle also helps the fly land softly on the waters surface and thus not spooking fish.This fly may have originated in the early 1900's (according to Lefty Kreh) and was probably refined by Homer Rhodes in the 1950's. Chico Fernandez has also made this fly a popular pattern. It has become a standard for all saltwater fly fishermen.
