As the name suggests this is a mini squid pattern that has an epoxy head, marabou and hen feather tail that moves and pulsates with each strip of the line. These have proven effective when darting above flathead hides, along protected beaches, up against rock walls and in estuaries. Use a intermediate or sink tip line to get the fly down to the strike zone or swim it close to the surface in shallow waters with a floating line. |
