"Kenyan Flies" is managed by Moses Musula who has been tying for Kenyan Flies and other companies for a number of years now. With his talent and experience, Moses heads up a team of Kenyan tyers who individually specialise in various styles of tying.

Your orders will go directly to Moses and be put in a tying queue. It may take a few weeks to produce your order, depending on the size of your order and the workload of the tiers. We trust that the quality and cost savings will be worth the wait. Occasionally certain tying materials are difficult to get and we will let you know if a certain pattern or colour is unavaiable when we get your order.

If you are after patterns not displayed on our website please ask us about it. Moses and his team are more than happy to produce custom patterns for you from photos and recipes, or better still a sample sent directly to the workshop.

We have made the shipping cost as simple as possible - one flat rate for anywhere in the world for any sized order. We have also made payment a simple matter of using your credit card with PayPal. In our experience this has been the most cost effective and secure method of payment.

About Our Products

Materials: Our materials are sourced from wholesale outlets in the USA, UK, Australia, and Kenya. Some products come directly from manufacturers, including those in Asia. If you have specific materials you would like to have used on commercial quantity orders, you can either supply these to us and the cost price of the matrials will be deducted from the order, or we will attempt to source them ourselves. Bearing in mind that we will not tie and trade flies using internationally prohibited materials, or materials that are a quarantine risk in most developed nations. If in doubt, please talk to us about your requirements.

Hooks: Our standard retail flies have been tied on generic hooks from South Korea, and we are now upgrading most of the freshwater hooks to Mustad and the common sizes in bass will also be Mustad. Please let us know with your order if you need a higher quality hook and we will let you know what the extra charge would be to upgrade your hooks and what is the availability.
